In order to determine your body size, it’s best to measure yourself in your underwear, as clothes tend to distort the readings. Note that we indicate all our measurements in centimetres. Remember to keep the tape level and to hold it taught but not too tight on your body. Please note that the following information refers to standard sizes.
Take the measurement over the fullest part of your bust.
Measure the narrowest part of your waistline.
Measure the fullest part of your hips.
This is the measurement you’ll need to determine which trouser leg length you need. To do this, measure your outstretched leg from the hip to the sole of your foot. Handy tip: women who are about 165-172 cm generally have an outer leg measurement of 32. Those taller than 172 cm usually have a size 34, and those smaller than 165 cm are generally a size 30.
This is the other measurement you’ll need to determine which trouser leg length you need. With your leg stretched out, measure the inside of your leg from the crotch to the sole of your foot.
To measure your underbust, extend your measuring tape horizontally around your ribcage just under the bust.
To determine your height, stand up straight and measure the distance from the crown of your head to the sole of your foot. To make sure you’re standing straight, place a book on the top of your head. This will ensure that you are standing straight enough to allow for an accurate reading.
To measure around your head’s circumference, wrap the measuring tape around your forehead at temple height. Please note that these tables are only intended as a guide and can differ from manufacturers’ measurements! Clothing measurements can sometimes differ from brand to brand by up to a whole size. Make your decision based on your own experience or with the help of input from other customers. One further tip: if you find yourself between two sizes, we generally recommend that you go for the bigger size. You might also want to order both and return the garment that does not fit as well to us free of charge.
